DAY 1 - USA TO TURKEY - Sun.

 

DAY 2 - ISTANBUL - Mon.

Arrival in Istanbul where East meets West. This unforgettable 2600 years old city is a synthesis of the past and the present. Our staff will escort you to the hotel from the airport. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. (-/-/D)

DAY 3 - ISTANBUL - Tue.

Today's program will start with a relaxing cruise along Bosphorus. We will continue on our visits in the afternoon with Blue Mosque and it's remarkable blue tiles, Hippodrome, Underground Cistern from Byzantine era and St. Sophia church. (B/L/D)

DAY 4 - ISTANBUL - Wed.

After breakfast we will visit the legendary Topkapi Palace and its Treasury and Harem sections. Visit to the Covered Bazaar, the largest built market with its 4000 tiny shops, will take place just before your flight to Ankara, the capital city of Modern Turkey. Blue Voyage representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in Ankara. (B/L/D)

DAY 5 - ANKARA - CAPPADOCIA - Thu.

After breakfast at the hotel the tour begins with Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and proceeds to the citadel. The Mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of modern Turkey, is the next stop. The journey to Cappadocia begins after lunch. (B/L/D)

DAY 6 - CAPPADOCIA - Fri.

Today, unique formations of volcanic landscape, rock carved churches and monasteries with colorful frescoes, 40 meters depth underground cities, hand woven handcrafts and well known Cappadocia wines await you to explore. (B/L/D)

DAY 7 - KONYA - PAMUKKALE - Sat.

Early departure for Pamukkale. You will be visiting a 13th century caravanserai on the silk road to Konya, famous with its Whirling Dervishes and theological school from Selcuks period. Arrival to Pamukkale will be late in the afternoon. (B/L/D)

DAY 8 - PAMUKKALE - KUSADASI - Sun.

Today's tour begins with the white petrified calcium formations of Pamukkale and the antique city of Hierapolis. Visit to Aphrodisias, the sculpting center of antique times and the city named after and dedicated to Aphrodite, comes next. Overnight in KuSadasi. (B/L/D)

DAY 9 - KUSADASI & EPHESUS - Mon.

Ephesus the most important sea port of antique times, is the first site to explore. The Basilica of St. John, house of the Virgin Mary and the Ephesus Museum are other highlights of the day. Transfer back to your hotel in Kusadasi. Afternoon is free. (B/L/D)

DAY 10 - CRUISING PATMOS - Tue.

After breakfast transfer to Kusadasi, port of departure for your 4 day Golden Classic cruise by "Golden Sun Cruise" vessels. Arrival in Patmos (04:00 p.m.) - Departure (09:00 p.m.) (B/L/D)

DAY 11 - CRUISING RHODES - Wed.

Arrival in Rhodes at 07:00 a.m. and departure from the Island at 06:00 p.m. (B/L/D)

DAY 12 - CRUISING CRETE (Heraklion) - SANTORINI - Thu.

Spend the day visiting two Islands in the Aegean. Crete between 07:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Santorini between 04:30 p.m. to 09:00 p.m. (B/L/D)

DAY 13 - CRUISING PIRAESUS - ATHENS - Fri.

Arrival in Piraesus at 07:00 a.m. disembarkation after breakfast. Our representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Athens. Rest of the day at leisure. (B/-/-)

DAY 14 - ATHENS - Sat.

After breakfast you will have a half day tour of Athens, Acropolis and its museum. Afternoon at your leisure. (B/-/-)

DAY 15 - TOUR TO DELPHI - Sun..

DAY 16 - CAPE SAUNION - Mon.

You will explore Temple of Poseidon at Cape Saunion during your half day afternoon tour. (B/-/-)

DAY 17 - RETURN TO USA - Tue.
