DAY 1 - USA TO GREECE - Fri

 

DAY 2 - ATHENS - Sat.

Arrive at Athens airport, where you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel in Athens. (B/-/L)

DAY 3 - ATHENS - Sun.

Morning orientation tour in Athens will include visits to the Acropolis, Parthenon, Erechtheum, Acropolis Museum. We will also drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Presidential Palace, Panathenian stadium, Temple of Zeus. Afternoon at leisure. (B/-/-)

DAY 4 - ATHENS - NAUPLION - Mon.

After breakfast begin your 4 - day classical tour. A drive along the Bay of Salamis and the Saronic Gulf will bring you to Corinth Canal. Later, you will continue on to Mycenae to see the Lion Gate and the beehive tombs of King Agamemnon. Epidaurus and its world famous theatre will be your last stop of the day. Dinner and overnight in Nauplion. (B/-/D)

DAY 5 - NAUPLION - OLYMPIA - Tue.

A morning drive through the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis will bring you to Olympia. Here, you will visit the impressive Temple of Hera, and the statue of Hermes. Dinner and overnight in Olympia. (B/-/D)

DAY 6 - OLYMPIA - DELPHI - Wed.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Patras, the capital of Peleponnose, through the plains of llia and Achaia. A ferry ride will take you from Rion to Antirion. The drive to Castalia Spring and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia will take you through the picturesque Nafpactos and the town of Itea. Dinner and overnight in Delphi. (B/-/D)

DAY 7 - DELPHI - ATHENS - Thu.

After breakfast, visit the Sanctuary of Apollo, Pythios and the Delphi Museum. There will be free time for lunch and shopping. Drive through the villages of Arachova, Levadia and Thebes, on your way to Athens. Arrival in Athens will be early in the evening. (B/-/-)

DAY 8 - CRUISING - Fri.

Transfer to Piraeus to take the 3 - day Golden Spirit cruise. (Departure is at 11:00 a.m.) arrival in Myconos 06:00 p.m. - departure 10:00 p.m. (B/L/D)

DAY 9 - CRUISING RHODES - Sat.

Arrival in Rhodes (10:00 a.m.) - departure (07.00 p.m.) (B/L/D)

DAY 10 - CRUISING PATMOS - KUSADASI - Sun.

Arrival in Patmos (07: 00 a.m.) - departure (12: 00 p.m.) Arrival in Kusadasi (04: 00 p.m.) and transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi (B/L/D)

DAY 12 - EPHESUS - Mon.

Today you will be picked-up from your hotel for a full-day tour of Ephesus, the city dedicated to Artemis, the Goddess of the moon and hunting. We will also tour St.John's Basilica, the house of the Virgin Mary and the Ephesus Museum where the treasures of the city are displayed. Return to your hotel in Kusadasi after the tour. (B/L/D)

DAY 13 - PERGAMUM - ISTANBUL - Tue.

Today we will head north to Pergamum where you will visit the Acropolis and Asclepion,the medical center of the ancient world. Your tour will continue with visits to the Temple of Trajan, the altar of Zeus and the Red Basilica. At the end of the tour we will head for İzmir airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in İstanbul, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight (B/L/D)

DAY 14 - ISTANBUL - Wed.

Our visit to this imperial city begins with the tour of the Blue Mosque named after it's incomparable blue tiles. Right next door are the St. Sophia Church, the Hippodrome and the Underground Cistern: a sunken subterranean reservoir with 336 columns built Byzantinian times. The tour continues on to Topkapı Palace to see, among other things, the secret Harem. (B/L/D)

DAY 15 - ISTANBUL - Thu.

In the morning, we sail between Europe and Asia on the Bosphorus. In the afternoon, we visit Suleymaniye Mosque, before we drive to the shopper's paradise the Covered Bazaar and the Spice market to stroll around 4000 tiny shops. (B/L/D)

DAY 16 - RETURN TO USA - Fri.

After breakfast our representative will escort you to the airport for your flight back to USA. (B/-/-)
