A full day in the old part of Istanbul starts
with a visit to the Hippodrome where chariot races took
place in ancient times. The Blue Mosque, a landmark on Sultanahmet
Square with it's six minarets of beautiful blue tiles and
the St. Sophia Church are to be visited in the morning.
We explore the magnificent residence of the Ottoman emperors

We board our boat for a cruise on the Bosphorus,
a waterway dividing Europe and Asia. A visit to architecturally
unique SUleymaniye Mosque is next. we then explore the two
huge Ottoman marketplaces, the Covered Bazaar and the Spice

After breakfast we visit the DolmabahCe Palace
located on the shores of the Bosphorus. This was the last
residence of the Ottoman Sultans until the fall of their
empire. Here we reflect upon the golden days of Ottoman
Culture. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore the
city as you wish. Our staff will be happy to give you suggestions.
