DAY 1 - USA TO ISTANBUL

 

DAY 2 - ISTANBUL

Arrival in Istanbul. Our representative will welcome and escort you to your hotel, the worlds famous Ciragan Palace on the Bosphorus. The rest of the day will be at your leisure. (B/-/-)

DAY 3 - ISTANBUL

Today a full day private tour in the old part of Istanbul is scheduled. Your guide and driver will meet you in the morning at your hotel. The day starts in the old part of the Istanbul with a visit to Hippodrome where chariot races took place in ancient times. The Blue Mosque, a landmark on Sultanahmet square with its six minarets of beautiful blue tiles, the underground Cistern, and the St. Sophia Church are to be visited in the morning. We explore the magnificent residence of the Ottoman Emperors and their life at Topkapi Palace. You will be escorted to your temporary Palace on the Bosphorus; CiraGan Palace Hotel. (B/L/-)

DAY 4 - ISTANBUL

You will have the entire day to explore this imperial city at your pace. We will make your dinner reservation dinner at a 2000 year old cistern which has been restored and transformed into a "Roman Tavern". At night this place is filled with the mysterious light reflected by flickering candles. (B/-/-)

DAY 5 - ANTALYA

After breakfast you will fly to Antalya, Turkey's best known resort city on the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel which is situated in the heart of the old city over looking the harbor. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this historical area or relax by the pool at your hotel. (B/-/-)

DAY 6 - ANTALYA

After the breakfast a tour of there ancient cities is scheduled for you. Perge is the first visit of the day with its theater, the huge stadium and it's Hellenistic and Roman gates; the magnificent Roman theatre Aspendos, and Side, a seaside resort village nestled between classical ruins are next stops. DAY 7 - ANTALYA

A full day of sailing along the Mediterranean is on your program today. You will enjoy swimming and relaxing in the tranquil waters of Phaselis, a famous ancient commercial harbor and Alexander the Great's favorite winter resort. Lunch will be served on board.
